3 types of pouches are available:

Multi pouch: 10 specula are packed together per inner pouch. This reduces the environmental burden and reduces unpacking hassle which is sometimes considered confronting by the patient.

Single pouch: 1 speculum per pouch, for instances where hospital rules require single packed instruments.

Sterile pouch: 1 speculum in a sterile pack, for operating theatres and situations where a sterile speculum is required.

The Orchid Spec speculum has been tested and certified by the Surgical Materials Testing Laboratory, of the NHS of Wales, United Kingdom. They have explained in astonishment that the Orchid Spec is the first speculum to ever pass with flying colours. No other plastic speculum currently on the market can take any significant load without severe deformation and breaking.
