Meet the designer

Designer Bob Roeloffs re-imagined the speculum with a passion for detail, comfort, ease of use and exceptional quality. He believed it was time to move beyond traditional designs and created a new speculum – the Orchid Spec – optimised with gynaecologists, patients, hospitals and an environmentally responsible product life cycle in mind.

Mr Roeloffs holds a master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
